    Latest on EUDR

    The cut-off date for deforestation check:

    Any land deforested after December 31, 2020, cannot be used to supply products to the EU market.

    Document Retention Period:

    The required document records of the due diligence statements to be maintained for five years from the date of submission. These records must be made available to competent authorities upon request.

    Rubber farms that haven’t proved the below is prohibited from exporting to EU market

    • They are deforestation-free (as per cutoff date)
    • They have been produced in accordance with the relevant legislation of the country of production
    • They are covered by a due diligence statement

    Required documentation for export

    The required documents to be maintained for 5 years are:

    • Geo-polygons with strict traceability linking the commodity to the plot of land of production
    • Due diligence statement, that declares that the rubber that is being exported by them to EU have been produced in accordance with the relevant legislation of India.
    • Risk assessment (Article 10) of rubber farms and collect comprehensive information about the products, including their origin, the legality of production, and any risks associated with deforestation.
    • Risk mitigation measures (Article 11) to mitigate identified risks of non-compliance (if any), ensuring that the products can be deemed compliant
